What is your payment policy/deposit?

When your wedding contract is signed we require a retainer of $1,000 to hold the date.  The remaining balance is due two weeks before your wedding.  We accept cash, check, or credit card. Payment plans are available as well.

How big are the pictures? Do they maintain clarity if blown up to 24X30?

I shoot with only professional equipment and the file sizes of each image are extremely large.  The photos can absolutely be enlarged to a 24x30 print.  You will find that the images can actually maintain their clarity at an even larger size.  The file sizes are usually between 10 and 30 mb a photo (but keep in mind the file size does not determine the actual size of the image)

Approximately how many photos will we receive from our wedding?

You will receive a USB drive with anywhere between 600-800 professionally edited images (for a full day wedding package).  You will also have a private on-line view gallery to share the images with your friends and family.

Do we get the copyright to our photos?

You receive full usage rights for personal use.  Gorge-Us Photography retains the copyright.

Do you bring backup equipments with you to weddings?

ABSOLUTELY.  I bring multiple camera bodies, flashes, lenses, etc.  We also carry liability insurance.

When should we expect to receive our wedding photos?

Within 4 to 6 weeks after your wedding you will receive all professionally edited images.

Do you retouch photos?

All photos are professional processed after the wedding.  Photos are touched up as necessary to remove minor blemishes, adjust white balance etc.  If there's something specific regarding retouching, please ask.

Do you ever shoot & burn?

Absolutely not.  At Gorge-Us Photography we personally review every RAW image from your wedding and professionally edit each image individually.  We will never deliver images straight out of the camera.  Each image is carefully reviewed and digitally processed.

What does the typical wedding day look like for you? Example, when do you usually arrive/depart?

Depending upon the package our client purchases, I typically arrive during the getting ready stage to capture final preparations along with getting dressed.  If there's a first look photo shoot prior to the ceremony, I usually arrive 3 hours before the ceremony starts.  I then stay until all the traditional dances are finished and stay to capture some of the evenings dancing and celebrating.  This time frame is completely customizable depending upon the wedding package you select.
